Maurice Greene is a two time Olympic Gold Medalist sprinter and former World Record holder in the 100M with a time of 9.79 seconds. He was a 5 time World Champion which included three golds at the 1999 World Championships. A feat which previously only been achieved by Carl Lewis and Michael Johnson. Maurice was also the indoor WR holder in the 60M until last year when USA’s Christian Coleman broke the record with a time of 6.34 eclipsing Greene’s previous record of 6.39.
Maurice is considered one of the best sprinters of all time along with Usain Bolt, Justin Gatlin, and Carl Lewis.
After his retirement in 2008, Greene was a guest star on Season 7 of Dancing With The Stars on ABC where he placed 5th up against tough competition which included Kim Kardashian, Lance Bass, Warren Sapp, and the eventual winner Brooke Burke.
